My bags are always within limits so no problem with any enforcement. What surprises me is that they seem to always find staff for these kind of blitzes but when there is weather related IRROPS that have been forecasted well in advance there is no additional staff on point.
And the other annoyance is the inconsistency. Last month a lady boarded with Zone 5 with a wheeled carryon, a backpack large enough to fit a german shepherd, a reusable grocery shopping bag stuffed to the gills and a ladys handbag that could have also hid a small dog. Everyone in aisle seats had to duck out of the way as the parade made its way to the back.
