Tried to take advantage of the $25.00 food credit yesterday as I missed an upgrade on TPA-PHL (#2 on a list of 14). So on a 2.5 hour flight, apparently they dont stock the cabin at all with food (other than Biscoff)? Then I tried to buy a drink (Titos and Tonic) but then realized I'm in MCE and my drink was free anyhow. Guess I should have gotten a double.
I have some legs in MCE coming up where I pre-ordered meals on AA.com, knowing the drinks are covered during the flight and I wanted to make use of the F&B credit while I can.
My plan was to get my pre-ordered sandwich and then a cookie or something to get close to $25 as I can.
Not going to rely on AA to fully cater the flight, as I have seen too many mid-con and longer flights catered with a whopping 1 cart of food and its done and over with after MCE is serviced.
