I am speaking for myself. And I will pursue CX through every available means, whether DOT complaint or court, to ensure they provide a refund due to their playing dirty tricks with inventory in an effort to frustrate the fare rules.
Sometimes plans change. This isn't meant to be a non-changeable ticket. In fact, fare rules say changes are allowed for $100.
If CX doesn't plan to honor these fare terms then I'm entitled to a full refund. Period. You can enjoy your gift. I will get my money back.
