The A343 are all in service even though the A339 have arrived in 2018. The old Recaro 6510 A332 are still about and YYZ gets it about 50% of the time. I'm looking at flying to YYZ with TP on A332 in mid June and the scheduled flight shows the Socgerma layout. Crossing my fingers...
TAP rarely operates retrofitted A330 on this route. I have flown this route 12 times in the last 9 months and have only had 1 flight with retrofitted business class.
The old A330’s belong in the scrap yard. It’s embarrassing that TAP sells a business class on these old aircraft. Air Canada will acquire 4 old Singapore Air A330 from TAP but AC is selling TAP business class seats on these aircraft as Premium Economy!!
