The OP has a 5 hour layover. Even if clearing Immigration and CBP takes an hour, they still have 4 hours. The AA Flagship Lounges are considerably nicer than any domestic AC, by a country mile. As some others have suggested, spend a few hours at the FL, and then perhaps head to the AC at the terminal of one's departing flight to mitigate any potential delays in the terminal to terminal connections.
