I had a quick conference in Philadelphia. I‘d planned to fly via RDU because it was $50 cheaper and I had some time to kill, but when I got to the gate the nice agent paged me to the counter and asked if I’d like to go on the nonstop. I told her if she could keep my upgrade intact, she had a deal. So, I was switched off the 717 to RDU, and onto a CR9 in 1A. Turned out the RDU-PHL leg was delayed, so it was fortuitous. As for the meal, I got the preorder email on the RDU flight and had ordered the chicken sausage breakfast burrito ... which was exactly what I got on this flight. Corn Chex were the other choice on both flights as well. Onto the meal!

The verdict: Careful readers will remember this as the exact same meal served to me in F on MSP-ATL a few weeks back. This time, the tortilla was over cooked and got crunchy. The eggs still had a strange texture, but tastes good enough. Service on this RJ was good enough. Not great, but fine. Certainly nothing to complain about. I had a couple cocktails and some cheezits from the snack basket, too. Before I knew it, I was into Philly three hours ahead of schedule.
