Nope, sure doesn't. That's why it's important to note that the OP did identify himself, and in discussions with the Starwood folks was able to establish to their satisfaction that he was indeed who he said he was.

As you can see from the posting just above, he was refused the room he had reserved simply because of a "policy" that required him to do more than establish his identity -- he had to produce "a picture I.D." as well!
