My vote is for GRU but I think it is clear that NW has little interest in South America. Unfortunately, from my point of view, SkyTeam does nothing to remedy this. CO and Delta do cover Sao Paulo, Rio, Lima, Bogota, Ecuador and now Buenos Aires but not Santiago (I guess via Copa Airlines). I suppose that if one is really interested in Latin American flights American with its LAN and Tam partnership is the way to go.
