Calling this location "downtown" is pretty laughable. I thought they were really straining credibility by claiming the courtyard on Post was a "Union Square" hotel, but this is completely disconnected from reality.
They're probably hoping to draw convention bookings at insanely high rates. While the location is not horrible, t's really not a good location if you're going to Moscone. Could be an okay option for those who need to be at the courthouses or Davies or the Opera house though.
