I haven never done none Schengen to none Schengen in ARN. In CPH you used to not have to go through passport or security check, but that has changed so now now need to do that for a lot of countries.

The 2 times passport check and 1 time security check is only valid if one of the fights arrive/depart from pier A and the other from pier F. The 2 pier's are only connected through the Schengen area, hence you will have to enter the Schengen area through passport and security check, and exit it again through passport check.
If both flights arrive and depart from the same pier it will be max 1 time passport and security check if any.
