There is no good way to see DL GUC inventory for DL operated flights, aside from calling in and getting a good agent. It sounds like this UG will go to the gate and it's a crap shoot as to whether it will clear. LAX-SYD can/will often sell out in J.
Yes he is on DL metal. I saw the flight on EF under DL and KL which I thought may correspond with the wiki above in terms of checking for space (still learning here).
Now it shows only 5 seats, do they really sell these seats last minute frequently?
