Can you actually prove this. Just because some airlines do, to extrapolate that up to most is a bit rich. AFAIK, in OW, AA iirc, does not have a cooling off period. I am fairly sure that QF doesn't either.

No, to me what is shocking is posting such titles as "disgraceful service" when what they have done is provide precisely the service which he has booked. When doing bookings yourself, it is encumbent upon the person making the booking to ensure that the booking is what is wanted.
