Stayed here for a night over the weekend. Summary version: if all you need is a place to sleep and shower, this is a good option. moxy is a "select" brand, though, sort of an updated aloft in a smaller space, so you need to set your expectations accordingly.

Since half the entrance is a flower shop, the actual lobby is a bit tight. IME it was well staffed with friendly and helpful agents. (Overall, the staff here seem pretty good.) I was given tokens (poker chips, basically) for welcome "bubbles" (presumably prosecco or something, I didn't have a chance to go) at Bar Feroce, along with $10 tokens for F&B, also for use at Bar Feroce. As the latter is the welcome gift ($10/day) you can instead request 500 points (per stay). "Platinum Perks" include:
  • Complimentary coffee at Feroce Caffe from 7-10am
  • $10/day F&B ($10 for you, and $10 for your +1) or 500 points/stay (already mentioned)
  • View room upgrade based on availability - there are basically no suites or larger rooms here, so your upgrade is a better view
  • Free rental workout clothes
  • 10% off at Putnam & Putnam
  • Priority access (+1 guest) to the Fleur Room before 9pm
The F&B situation is a bit confusing, but basically there are four options:
  1. Feroce Caffe on the first floor, which is a casual breakfast/lunch kind of place. Use the free coffee perk here.
  2. Bar Feroce on the second floor which is, well, a bar, though you can also order food. Use the F&B tokens here.
  3. Feroce Ristorante on the second floor, which is an Italian restaurant. AFAICT there are no perks usable here.
  4. The rooftop lounge, Fleur Room. From 5-9pm you access it via the second floor. The hotel takes one of the four hotel elevators out of service and runs it exclusively from 2 to 35. The only perk here is priority access before it gets busy.
The elevator situation is mostly OK, but problematic at certain times. Only two elevators services level C, which is where the small but well appointed gym and luggage storage are located. Late in the afternoon, one of these elevators is used for the rooftop lounge service, meaning you'll probably have a really long wait to access this floor. Additionally, housekeeping uses the same elevators as guests since there do not appear to be any service elevators. (Or maybe there are and they use them anyway?) The hotel has indicated they are working to improve the elevator system, but I don't know what exactly that means.

On to the rooms. They are small but well designed. The bed is comfortable. Wifi is excellent. The toilet and shower are accessed by sliding doors with frosted glass, a design which is better for solo travelers or people who are comfortable being around each other. The shower had excellent water pressure (better than my own, actually), and uses Muk branded products from wall mounted dispensers. There is a combined body wash/shampoo and a separate conditioner. (Muk apparently primarily makes hair care products.)

There is no desk. There is a folding table and chair hanging from the wall (not kidding) that you can take down and use, but if you need a proper workspace this is not the hotel for you. (Marriott's "desk-less" rooms are generally superior, which is saying something.) There's not really a good common space to use either. The room is also missing some other basics, like notepads and phone instructions. The primary storage is under the bed (along with hangars on the wall), and there isn't a lot of it.

Rooms 07-12 face north and have excellent midtown views (including of the Empire State Building), starting around floors 10-15. Rooms 01-06 face south and look towards lower Manhattan. Lower floors will basically just have views of neighboring buildings.
