bumping this since its my exact question. Trying to decide between these two locations for an upcoming overnight (non-business) stay. I know there is a $10 upcharge for diamonds to get hot breakfast items at Parc 55, but thats about it.
We liked the Hilton better for the slightly larger room, the more spacious lobby, the wonderful high view lounge (and the views from the room), and the slightly better location (one block up). We didn't find the sprawling size to be a problem, nor did we have any issues immediately outside the hotel. IIRC there was also an upgrade to the hot items at the Hilton, but it also included made to order items and a daily special (and morning cocktails when we were there). We just got the cold buffet at the Parc.
