My GF and I will be flying into KIX and taking the train straight to Kyoto, in a few weeks, for a holiday in Kyoto and Tokyo for one week. Is it possible to buy 1 SIM card in the KIX arrivials hall? We just want data to message home, use maps, train websites and other touristy stuff.

What/where is recommended to buy? We don't need some expensive, huge data allowance, phone calls etc.
