So I fly to DME in 2 weeks with ba, then later that day fly to Baku with Azerbaijan airlines. I know I don’t need a visa as I will transit and take hand luggage only. The only problem I have is I know some one who done a similar trip with ba and because they didn’t have a visa to enter Russia ba denied them boarding the flight. I have tried contacting ba several times all they keep saying is checking ukgov, which gives me the answer I know. So my options are as it’s an avios booking I either cancel it and go book another avios booking via Düsseldorf with ba then s7 airlines or go on my original booking which is absolutely fine with TIMATIC. Any help would be appreciated as ba won’t give me an answer at all.
