Looking at the seat map, though -- there is exactly one odd-numbered window seat available -- 17A. I'd be tempted to pay the $649 just to secure it.
At the risk of getting too off-topic... why does everyone here make such a big deal about even vs odd numbers? I've never flown "real" polaris before...

Edit: never mind, I searched for it and a TPG review came up.

I think I'm going to waitlist for 15,000 miles. I assume that this won't affect my $649 offer? I can still buy that, which will remove me from the waitlist and return my miles?
