Another consideration that needs to be weighed: The RER station for CDG's Terminal 1 is NOT in T1 itself. It is actually adjacent to T3 (the renamed T9). Pax must take a shuttle bus from T3 to T1 itself (the distance is not great, but sometimes the wait can be frustrating).
