i think I know the answer, but hoping others can offer some suggestions...

I’m looking to make a points booking in Edinburgh during August. I’m a very frequent Hilton traveller (probably rack up about 40-50k points per month, and I’m sure that by the time of my stay I’ll have more than enough points (120,000) to cover it, but I don’t have enough yet, and probably won’t until mid/late June.

I know Marriott offer a service whereby you can make a redemption without enough points. Do Hilton offer anything similar? My alternative option is to book the dates I want using a flexible rate and then cancelling when i have enough points - but no guarantee the room will open up for award availability?
