Yes, the layout looks like a Grand Metropolitan Suite I had last time I stayed there - unless I'm wrong I don't think the standard Metropolitan Suites are anywhere near that size? My observations were fairly similar at the time that service and space in the suite were very good, but that the finish on the hard product wasn't perfect and there were quite a few stains / chips to the furniture at the time.

Sounds quite a small thing, but one of my main objections to the St. Regis (and also Athenee) is there is no easy way to connect your phone up to play music in the room, in this day and age I think all five star hotels should be facilitating this (even the otherwise very old fashioned SGS has a Bluetooth system for the televisions).
