LPGS is shorthand for Laurent Perrier Grande Siècle, which is considered by many on this list to be the best champagne that BA offer. It’s only available in the CCR and in the First Cabin.
I tried it for the first time last month and while it was perfectly pleasant, I was a bit disappointed as it wasn’t as wonderful as I was expecting it to be, given the reverence in which it seems to be held, on this forum.
But tastes are individual and vary greatly.

as soon as I replied I worked out what the acronym was! I have had LPGS a few times before (this will be our sixth BA first class flight 😁

and although I like it I am not a big champagne drinker so wouldn’t rush out to buy it. I like a good espresso martini however... I have never tried any of the cocktails in the concord room as all of our previous flights have been early morning but think I will definitely try one in October!
