I haven't / don't see much of an increase in costs. I have been flying EWR - NRT or EWR - SIN a couple of times a year for a while. I do have some flexibility on scheduling and routing but 7K for a nonstop (Urgent) P and 3.5K with stops (sightseeing to NRT isn't bad. Neither is 5K in W for SIN. I'm coming up on 2mm (a rather useless milepost) and I can count on UA to get me to where I'm going with a minimum of hassle.
