Why are you fixated on flying one of the world's worst airlines?

A simple Google flights search shows RT IAD-SIN on Qatar (arguably the world's best Business Class) for $3,449 pp.
I see IAD-SIN/NRT-IAD on QR in the $4,800pp range. An AS/SQ combination via LAX is $4,100 pp.
