brits_in_va: Virgin didn't introduce NEAR flat-beds in Upper Class until after BA, they also didn't announce the product until after BA (and when they did the design wasn't completed).

I agree that Virgin Upper Class is an excellent product, and is comparable to some low-end First Class products. But it is not in my opinion any better* than BA ClubWorld and is certainly not in the same league as BA, Swissair, Lufthansa, Cathay, Singapore, Emirates or Qantas First.

*However it is a different style of Service to BA ClubWorld and some people much prefer this style just as some people prefer BA's style or the US style.
