789 J - Row 8 window or Row 4 middle?
Hi everyone,

I’m on the AA 73 next week (LAX-SYD), traveling solo. The business cabin has been nearly full since booking. The only seat available for the longest time was 4K (middle seat). Yesterday the window seats in Row 8 (both A and L) suddenly became available.

I haven’t seen a lot of commentary on Row 8 on this forum, besides noting on Seatguru that the galley and lav proximity might be “bothersome” and these seats have 1 window (but in a good location).

However, I’ve seen a LOT of commentary about how AA got the middle seats all wrong on the 789, declining optional privacy dividers. Since I’m solo, I’m guessing ANY window seat is preferable to any middle seat and I should go for the Row 8 window.

Agreed? Or should I stay put in the middle? Would also love to hear anyone’s thoughts who has been in 8A or 8L.
