Thanks for standing up for my home airport, the original of which was actually built by the French during the Cold War Blockade in 1948. Apparently at that time it boasted the longest runway in Europe.

Long may TXL remain with us and I'm not particularly looking forward to my SXF-LTN flight tomorrow, which definitely gives the worst of both worlds in a single flight.
