I should have added "apparently" to the statement "second best" as this was based on the opinions of several locals, I can't judge this. Be that as may, as I mentioned the hotel failed to credit the correct points. Several email exchanges back and forth (some measly 2000
rewards points were credited, not what I need) but the status points are still missing. Meanwhile the hotel stopped responding and the matter had to go to Paris (also still pending). Why is it so hard to sort this out?
