Templehof is definitely be too small, but I wish there still were some flights there so I could experience flying out of that airport. I took a tour of the old airport a few months ago and it's really a fascinating place.

My experiences with the TXL bus have been anything but efficient or even acceptable. Traveling from the airport, the bus was incredibly packed to where I was sore when I got off. For the trip back to the airport from Hauptbahnhof, the bus was just packed but also significantly late getting to that stop. Then the bus trip itself took an extra 45 minutes or so due to traffic jams around the airport. If it weren't for BA flight delays, I expect I would have missed my flight. I'm ready to take a train to an airport somewhere else in Germany rather than to have to deal with those buses again.
