On my Amtrak May eStatement, I noticed an image showing that companion coupons are now valid for Roommette travel. Clicked on the coupon and low and behold, this is now part of the T&Cs:
- Offer also valid for Roomette travel upon full payment of applicable accommodation charges. Not valid for other sleeping car accomodations.
