I have not flown the 763 transcon between JFK-SFO but I would choose it over J on the 762. Lots more room. As for service, transcons get pretty nice F service no matter the aircraft (737s and 757s are ok, except for the seats). Equal to the J AFS service, in my opinion.

My vote? Take the 763. Lots more legroom.
