Agreed that the 762 F is better than the 762 J, but the 763 F scores over the 762 J on account of the seats IMO, the service being similar. The OPs original question asks about
:
762 in Business (three class plane)
763 in "First" (two class plane)
AFAIK, the 762 F seats, the mammoths recline more than the 762 J or 763 F seats, but dont quite go the full 180. Further, the 763 F seats are better than the 762 J seats as they have a greater pitch and slightly more recline.

Individual DVD, better food including lobster, etc. Of course the 762 seats recline 180 instead of the 150 for the 763. Having 2 FAs for 9 pax also helps.
