For future reference, they probably have you the worst case scenario. I did enrollment on arrival at SFO this morning. It was painless.
I was told the wait was 60 to 90 minutes. I signed my name on a clipboard; I was number 12. In reality, I was called 35 minutes later.
The interview took about 5 minutes. Other than “do you travel mostly for business or pleasure,” I wasn’t asked any questions. Most of the time was spent describing how to use the GE machine, that I could be called aside for spot checks (always say your GE, as you can jump any line) and that I couldn’t bring family members through GE with me unless they were all enrolled.
I was approved about 20 minutes after the interview.
