It was a pretty crappy Days Inn before. I haven't stayed there yet but living in St. Louis I saw the major renovation. One thing they did was extend the room out by about another 5 or 6 feet!

If you're coming to STL for a Rams game the Dome is a block away.

They are also building a Hilton Garden Inn a few blocks south of the new Hampton on Broadway. The sign still says Spring 2004 for opening but at the rate they're working they'll more likely be done Spring 2005. It's actually a major renoavation of an old building but I also believe the parkage garage connected to it will be shared by the Hilton and the Federal Reserve Bank/Offices.
