I just called to upgrade my ticket for next month from PE to Business and they wanted $7k for two people round trip. Nope, not doin it!
What I found is that upgrading on the check in desk on the day of the flight is the cheapest way to do it if there is availability, BA quoted me £2500 to upgrade to business on the phone, and £500 on the checkin desk...

I gathered that you are seated in PE and you thought I was still maybe you could peek at row 10 behind you when you do fly and let me know please.
