Is it now just a brick? Or is there any easy way to continue to use it as a local NAS device?
If not, any recommendations for a cheap NAS device that allows me to attach USB drives (I don't necessarily need for the NAS to have its own internal drive)
This brings back memories!
I have one that I installed either Debian or ArchLinuxARM on to use with a USB drive as my first NAS and another that I put OpenWRT on and used with a USB WiFi stick as my first travel router
Surprisingly, there are instructions still available online to do the mods.
