Not a question, but received an email from EK that it has launched a new Mastercard credit card in Malaysia with Hong Leong Bank.

Full details are here, but the two cards at higher income thresholds (RM90,000 and 200,000) include Silver status for a year, passes to the KLIA EK lounge, and sign-up bonuses (2500-10,000 Skywards Miles).

EK otherwise has small offers with other Malaysian banks (5-10% off fare components with a Maybank card) so will be interesting to see if these change/go.
