This is exactly my attitude. To me, the degree is simply a prerequisite to a stronger career in the long run. I am not "above" taking this kind of job now because I know that, regardless of what I do, I will find a way to develop that innate business sense, high IQ and burning ambition to succeed.
I admit that I am naive here, too. But while I am young and have the flexibility (and can stand sleeping on a couch), I am taking the chance to feel out the industry. If, in 18 months, I decide it's not for me (or I get laid off), I can always get another job. The only thing lost would be time, of which I have plenty!
