Texas Roadhouse has EMV now. Of course, no pay at the table or PIN/contactless (NCR Aloha with VX820s, themselves running default NCR software.) I think QC might have been used but I'll check cardpeek when I get home and update this post with what I find.

The annoying part is that contactless isn't physically possible at the takeout station either. I get not doing pay at the table for all of the reasons already mentioned but you'd think there would be a customer facing option somewhere. Photo:



I wonder if it's a side effect of the MC prohibition on tip adjust for contactless/PIN, despite that particular rule obviously not being enforced (e.g. with Square doing it for tapped transactions).
