For Central, I just booked online myself

Thanks

Do you know for Central is it a situation where the reservation has to be made within minutes (like Eleven Madison, Minibar etc) or just the day reservations open? I ask because although I know reservations for October can be made on July 29th- I have not been able to confirm what time of day they are posted.

On our recent trip to Spain I had no problem securing reservations to even 3 star restaurants like Azurmendi, but I have been burned before ( I am talking to you Prince de Galles ) when I have relied on a concierge to secure for me on very difficult to reserve restaurants.

ETA

I just found this on a TripAdvisor forum:

I booked at 7:00 am Mountain time on the day reservations opened for May, and got the day/time I needed. However it took me a half hour to complete my on-line reservation because they needed you to log in through your Facebook or google accounts. I'm not on Facebook and I forgot what my google password was...had to go look for it. You also need to give a credit card number.

I checked the Central website again after work at 5:00 pm and all time slots for my day were gone.

If you are going for the tasting menu, I think they only have 1 seating because it takes 2.5 to 3 hrs to get through it, and they don't open until 7:45 pm.
