hello all

first of all my apologies for asking perhaps an obvious question. I am flying to CDG on CX and will be arriving in the early morning. I wonder if I plan to buy AF ticket from CDG to Nice on my arrival date do I need to collect my luggage and check in again, or I can ask the CX staff at HKG to tag my luggage to NIce? Many thanks !!
