Irrevelant to the the OP's issue but do you know what happens when you buy a WTP ticket onboard to EWR and the equipment changes to Air Belgium A340-300. Do they upgrade automatically to Club World or ask you to rebook to another flight or give the option to cancel the ticket?
The same situation, happened to me on LOT and I was auto-upgraded to Business Class.
