Our passports weren't stamped to show denial. In fact, my wife's passport was changed and accepted (see my post above) after our initial denial.

Thanks for this info! Did they say it was the Turkish stamp or were you just guessing? Is it a US passport?

Very glad I renewed just based on other reports I had seen. I hope Indonesia isn't an issue as that will be on my passport by then .
