I often travel with my wife and son, and I enter their Millemiglia numbers against their individual tickets; but I would much prefer to get the qualifying miles myself if that were possible, for obvious reasons (and neither of them fly anywhere near enough to acquire status in their own right). If you're saying that you can enter your own MM number against multiple tickets on the same booking, that's a crucial piece of knowledge I was lacking.
