I was able to get the photos done, took all the documentation for applying (plus the stolen passport report) and submitted yesterday (nice thing about small town -- nobody in line for the clerk who processes passport apps). Just wish I'd remembered to add in the $175 replacement cost for book/card to my homeowner's insurance claim for the stolen briefcase and its other contents.
