For short layovers, which hotels are about as close to the airport for this price range? From hotel chains I do not think there are any. Reviews of Marriott are quite bad and at DT the hardware is good.

I have never researched independent hotels in Doha so if there are some in this price range, better than DT, it would be useful. But from Marriott and Hyatt there are none I believe, unless you are willing to go farther from the airport and pay more money.

If you are a light sleeper I think the answer is to spend more money and go elsewhere, but in this price range and proximity to the airport I am not convinced there are tons of better choices.
