I've always wanted to visit TYO but got put off by the expensive fare, so I'm more than happy to make a transfer to bring down the cost (and earn some PQM). However, how do I search for tickets like this? I believe if I search SEA-PVG on UA, it won't show any layover > 1 day in TYO. Should I search for multi-city as SEA-TYO + TYO-PVG + PVG-SEA?
