Perhaps I should ask, what is the alternative for you to ET in business class? United economy?
And where in US do you fly to?
ET business class is good, but it really depends on what you compare it to and which route/equipment. Some of the 777-300ER they often use on e.g. IAD the interior is already quite run down in my opinion despite aircrafts being pretty new. Multiple times had screens on the bulkhead C seats that couldn't be pulled up properly, my wife once had a screen that didn't work at all. And don't get me started on their 767's. But if you manage to get their A350ies, that is the best experience.
In flight service is usually fantastic, staff really friendly and helpful.
