You need 6 months on your passport. That is 6 months beyond your departure date. Immigration * may* allow you to enter, but they would be within their right to turn you away. Your airline maybalso deny you boarding. The quote in # 5 is correct!

Also, you do not need to get a VISA in advance. BUT, upon entry you are given a B2 Blue Visa on a separate piece of paper. ( don’t lose it!)
