Ground staff at LHR T2 will almost certainly weigh your hand luggage if you're in economy. A roller in economy has to be 8kg or less and size compliant though they are more vigilant about weight and you might get away with something a centimetre or two larger. If it is compliant it will go in the hold without charge however if it's over 8kg it doesn't comply with hand luggage rules and the checked bag fee will apply which I think is €40 per piece.
