Precursor to this week’s tip is to remind parents that we can never take ourselves too seriously nor concern ourselves with the opinions of others. Parenting is a personal thing and differs with every child.

When you have had just about enough of your child(ren) having unnecessary tantrums about your unwillingness to purchase cookies or ice cream and it reaches the point that they have hurled themselves on the floor of the grocery store aisle, lay down beside them and start screaming along with them. I assure you it will stop. Immediately.
